Home Technology Inspection

Everyone gets a home inspector to make sure their HVAC, electrical, and water systems are in working order. One thing these inspectors do not test is low-voltage smart home systems which are becoming more and more common in Vero Beach homes. Below are just some of the reasons you should have a Home Technology Inspection pre or post purchase.

Find out what the home has

The majority of a “Smart Home” is hidden behind the walls. The wiring is what allows for all of the technologies to communicate with each other. During our inspection we will test the wiring capabilities of a home and determine the amount of connected technologies. These can include lighting control, audio, video, security, Wi-Fi, networking, and more. It is now time to test the entire smart side of a home to ensure everything is working properly. If something should not work in a smart home, we will find it. Our technicians are proficient in most smart home technologies and what abilities they should have. A network diagnostic will also tell us if a home’s network is running at a proficient bandwidth.

Updates/Upgrades

As you know, software updates are crucial to keeping technology running smoothly. Even smart home technologies require occasional updates for optimal performance. Our technicians will update all of the systems that are in need of an update during the inspection. We will also discuss possible expansion of the system during our visit. Some technologies may be outdated or you may just want to add some more to your new home. Whether it is a new OLED TV or full smart home revamp, we have you covered at The Audiohouse. Doing a home technology inspection allows us to ensure your home will be working smoothly prior to moving in.
